Whatever you need to perform at the ultimate level, SkateWorks has the experience to get it done. We offer a wide range of skate maintenance and repair services to give you the professional edge.
Blade and Holder
Mounting - $60 per pair
Blade mounting removes the old holders and blades from the skates and replaces them with another set of holders and blades.
Boot Stretching - $15 per skate
This encompasses stretching the skate boot for length and/or width to accommodate a skater’s foot.
Boot Punch - $15 per skate
This encompasses making an impression in the skate boot to accommodate a skater’s foot.
Rivet or Eyelet
Replacement - $3 each
This encompasses removing the old rivet or eyelet and replacing it with a new one.
Skate Baking - $30 per pair
This entails warming the boot to assist in forming the skates to the player’s feet.
Skate Blade Angle
Adjustment - $30 per skate
This encompasses adjusting the blade to its correct vertical position. Note that some blades will not be able to be repaired. In that case, SkateWorks will give you a recommendation as to the best remedy to resolve the issue.
Blade Straightening
$30 per skate
This encompasses reshaping the blade to its correct shape, either by applying pressure or repositioning the skate to correct the issue. Note that some blades will not be able to be repaired. In that case, SkateWorks will give you a recommendation as to the best remedy to resolve the issue.
Figure Skate
Snow Sealing - $30 per pair
In this process, we will remove the blades from the boots and apply Snow Seal to the boots. We will then reapply the skate blades to the boots. SkateWorks recommends this maintenance process occur once per year.
